In the fall of 2024 A Friend InDeed Inc. along with medical students from various medical schools in person and remotely, presented a healthy lifestyle program to the 3rd-grade students of Academy Charter School in Wyandanch, NY!

A Friend InDeed, Inc. proposes to formulate a team that will educate our children of color to nurture their dreams, become equipped for the future practice of medicine, via well-defined parameters charted to achieve true success. The focus of this 501C3 non-profit organization is to address the shortage of practicing culturally and ethnically aware physicians in our communities of color.

Angela H. Todd, MD

Dr. Todd is a Board Certified Obstretrician & Gynecologist. She is also a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and AB in Biology from Cornell University.

Our Mission

The Mission of A Friend InDeed Inc. is to empower children of color residing in underrepresented communities to pursue careers in medicine. This will be accomplished through an enhanced curriculum that will provide skills to allow them to confidently excel in medical careers. Our goal is to increase the number of health care professionals from our community in order to address our disproportionate medical disparities.

Our Team

Angela Todd, MD

CEO & Founder

Dr. Todd believes in supporting the dreams of our black and brown youth for the benefit of the whole community. This has been paramount in the development of A Friend Indeed, Inc. She is ecstatic to apply her philanthropy and gift of community organization to this role as the CEO! Dr. Todd is a Board Certified Obstretrician & Gynecologist. She is also a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and AB in Biology from Cornell University.

Natsai Todd

Marketing Director

Todd is a producer based in Los Angeles, CA specializing in executing marketing for social media campaigns. As Marketing Director, she intends to showcase A Friend Indeed’s drive and passion for educating the youth of underrepresented communities! Natsai Todd has a Master in Design, Business, & Technology from the University of Southern California along with a Bachelor’s in Film & Media Arts from Temple University.

Linda Jackson, MBA

Treasurer

Linda Jackson is the Director of Analysis and Product Development at Metro Plus Health in New York, NY. In her role, she focuses on revenue optimization in order to better serve patients. Jackson is excited to apply this experience in her role as our Treasurer! Linda Jackson hold an MBA from the State University of New York at Oswego and a BS in Health Administration from the Southern New Hampshire University.
